M1 ABRAMS TANK

Is an American third-generation main battle tank that entered service in 1980. It features a powerful turbine engine, sophisticated composite armor, and separate ammunition storage in a blow-out compartment for crew safety. Weighing nearly 62 metric tons, it is one of the heaviest battle tanks in service.

KENNEDY CENTER

Located on 17 acres overlooking the Potomac River in Washington, DC, was opened in 1971. It is America’s living memorial to President Kennedy as well as the nation’s busiest arts facility, presenting more than 2,000 performances each year.

THE OLD COUNTRY CHURCH

Most of these churches are recognizable by their Carpenter Gothic design which features timber frame construction, stain glass windows, detailed trim and pointed arched windows and doors. For generations, these churches have served as a second home for many Americans and were the cornerstones of many rural communities.

INDEPENDENCE HALL

Is the birthplace of America. The Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were both debated and signed inside this building. Also, George Washington was appointed Commander in Chief of the Continental Army in 1775 and the Articles of Confederation were adopted in 1781.

F-117 NIGHTHAWK

Is a USAF twin engine stealth attack aircraft that was developed in Lockheed’s secretive Skunk Works division. 

It was the first operational aircraft to be designed around stealth technology. The F-117 was well publicized for its role in the Persian Gulf War and remained active until 2008 when it was replaced by the F-22 Raptor

APOLLO SATURN V WITH GANTRY

Saturn V: President Kennedy said, “we choose to go to the moon” The Saturn V is how we got there! This 3-stage expendable rocket was developed by NASA to support the US Apollo space program between 1967 and 1973. The “V” referenced the five giant F-1 rocket engines clustered at the bottom of the Saturn V’s first stage.
