Vance Astro is an astronaut who was placed in suspended animation and awakened centuries later. Vance was taken prisoner alongside the Centaurian Yondu Udonta by the alien invaders called the Badoon, but they escaped and formed the Guardians of the Galaxy with other freedom fighters. He eventually found the shield of his hero, the legendary Captain America, and proved himself worthy of the Avenger's legacy.

Black Widow, who is also known as Natasha Romanoff, is a minifigure in the Marvel Super Heroes theme introduced in 2012. She is an Avenger and former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

Natasha Romanoff was Drakoff's daughter and was involved in a hospital fire. When she was a young girl she became a Russian spy. Later in her career, she caught the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D. They sent Hawkeye to kill her, but Barton refused and Natasha had since owed Hawkeye her life. He persuaded her to start a new life and become an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Adam Warlock, originally known as Him or Adam, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character's earliest appearances were in Fantastic Four #66–67 (cover-dates Sept. 1967 and Oct. 1967) and Thor #165–166 (June–July 1969). He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and significantly developed by Roy Thomas and Jim Starlin.

Debuting in the Silver Age of comic books, the character has appeared in over four decades of Marvel publications, and starred in the titles Marvel Premiere and Strange Tales as well as five eponymous volumes and several related limited series. Adam Warlock has been associated with Marvel merchandise including animated television series, and video games.

Gamora is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure that appears in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. She was physically released in 2014.

Gamora is the daughter of Thanos, who described her as "The deadliest woman in the galaxy". When she saw the error of her father's ways, she turned against him and joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, which also consists of Star-Lord, Drax, Groot and Rocket Raccoon. She is a skilled fighter and has an array of weapons. She is also the sister of Nebula.
